Kuhn GMD 802 F

The Kuhn GMD 802 F eight-disc, front-mounted disc mower is a compact and easy to maneuver mower that offers reliability, clean mowing and excellent ground contour following capability. Computer designed discs ensure a clean cut at any speed. The front mounted design provides better weight distribution over both axles of tractor which is crucial when mowing on uneven terrain. The floating suspension is reactive to the terrain. In the case of an obstacle encounter, the cutterbar will lift to avoid it, and then will go back into its normal position. Four swathing drums form an airy swath and guide the crop to the center of the machine to prevent it from being pressed down by the tractor wheels.

It is driven by a proven gear train, offering exceptional long-term reliability. This mowing unit will cut up to 28'7" using as little as 120 PTO horsepower. When paired with the Kuhn’s GMD 8730 FF triple head disc Mower, farms with larger areas to harvest will mow with ease.
